The first concert (18/12/2010) that will take place at Al Mkhalles Orthodox Church in Dhour Chweir, is organized in the context of Dhour Chweir Nativity Festivities.

These festivities are organized by the Dhour Chweir municipality.

On the evening of Saturday December 18, 2010, at 6PM, 3 concerts will take place at the same time in 3 different churches in Dhour Chweir: Orthodox, Latin Catholics, and Maronite choirs will be performing each in his church.

At the end of the concerts, the audience of the 3 churches will meet at the center of these churches to enjoy the lighting of the huge Christmas tree and the fire works for Christmas.

Dhour Chweir Nativity Festivities

On the initiative of SOLIDERE, the festival of sacred music (2010) takes place in the churches of Beirut Down Town.

19 concerts of professional choirs and soloists from all Christian traditions perform daily concerts during all the Nativity season.

SEM’s participation in the festival will take place in a concert scheduled for Tuesday December 21st, 2010 at 8PM at St George Cathedral at the Place de l’étoile.
